From start to finish Amy and Jake's wedding was magical. Amy, a massive fan of all things wizardy, wanted a Harry Potter themed wedding. They chose the spell-binding Rochford Hotel with its enchanting marquee in which to get ready, have the ceremony and celebrate.
Amy had a clear vision of how she wanted her day to look, down to choosing not 5, not 7, but 6 bridesmaids, to ensure that there were an even number for photos such as this one.
She also styled the day beautifully with lots of little magical touches, thinking about the tiniest details, such as her phone cover, matching PJs and HP gifts.
Once the dress was on, the emotions were running high. First with a reveal to her bridesmaids, mum and nan and then to her dad.
The boys were photographed by my colleague, whilst I was with the bride, and from what I hear it was a typical, raucous morning in the blue camp.
The boys opted for very traditional top hat and tails which gave a classy feel to the day; the canes adding to the fun.
Jake was definitely the more nervous of the two, and waited patiently for his bride to walk down the aisle. It was worth the wait. He only just managed to hold back the tears as his beautiful bride arrived.
Amy and Jake opted for group photos to be taken on the patio area of the gardens due to the extreme, muddy conditions, although they braved a less swampy patch for their newlywed pictures.
The Wedding Breakfast was stunning. Each table was a Hogwarts House with a mystical tree centre-piece.
The evening, although cold, was light up by Amy and Jake's friends and family casting spells on them, wishing them a happy future with the help of magic wands (sparklers). A wonderful end to an enchanting wedding day.
